Delhi Durbar Of 1877

The Delhi Durbar (lit. "Court of Delhi") was the imperial mass assembly organized by the British Raj at Coronation Park, Delhi, India, to mark the accession of an Emperor or Empress of India. The ceremonial name was derived from the Persian term, durbar (royal court).
